2007-08-15 [Artsieladie]: It's finally a nice day by me. Our temps are expected to be in the mid 70's to 80 degree range for the next 4 or 5 days. Yay! :)
2007-08-15 [Grandamelf]: Gee, our heat is rising! index today 101 and on the rise thru the rest of the week! We now have "cooling centers" in our town!

2007-08-15 [Morningstar Rising]: well I grew up in the north and winters were like OH MY GOD, really bad. But I was used to them, and now I am kind of used to the heat. Not there all the way, but getting there. I don't know how I would deal with the harsh temps of back home, having lived here where the coldest it has gotten has been in the high 30's. Everyone use to tell me it got cold out here, but I never believed them. It does get cool, but not cold enough to have to wear a thick winter coat.
